My country is such a scary country. With majority of its people being Muslim here, they constantly use their religion to condemn homosexuality and everything that is deviant to them. They assume it’s a choice and it’s something we can change with will power and faith in God. They don’t realize their religion should be kept to themselves as something personal. They don’t keep their boundaries. They assume that it is a religion that is oh so ever enlightening that is the principal of human life and everyone should follow it.
Fuck sakes, I’m don’t even know what I’m saying but I know that people should keep their religion beliefs to themselves and stop causing so much commotion, hatred, and ignorance. Just live your life, LGBT people are not doing any harm. We just want the right to be able to love without any condemnation, without being afraid, without being discriminated. We just want to be ourselves.
Short to put, I really can’t wait to get out of this country. I really don’t want to leave my family, my home. The amazing place I grew up in. The amazing place that has the best food..but if I really want a life that I can feel like I actually belong and not constantly bombarded with depressing news on television or facebook, I need to get out of this place.
